Brooklyn Kindergarten Society

We are committed to quality childcare. Our centers are fully licensed by the New York City Department of Heath (DOH) and we offer enrichment programs and family social support services to give each child the opportunity to have a great preschool experience.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM.

Using the Creative Curriculum, we offer a literacy-based enriched education program that is responsive to children's skills, interests, and language abilities. Children enjoy time outside daily (except during inclement weather) in the play yard adjacent to each classroom. Using private funding, individual centers regularly sponsor enrichment programs to enhance children's experience with music, art and/or dance. Each program involves parents in center activities, 45 classroom volunteers and in education workshops.

The BKS certified social worker works closely with the center director and teachers to provide family support services. A specialized team from the Cooke Center for Learning and Development also provide critical screening and on-site services to children with special needs.
